Homoeopathy is the medical practice of treating like with like. That is to say, treating an illness with a substance which when taken by a healthy person produces symptoms similar to those displayed by the person who is ill.

Dear Dr. Zeb,
I have been suffering from back pain problems ever since the birth of my second child 11 years ago. I tried various treatments such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, Chinese herbs etc, which did gave me some pain relief temporary. However, a friend recommended me to you 10 years ago. You have been treated my pain successfully over the years and I am now able to continue to live life normal and have been able to continue with my career. I have also suffered joint pains, which you also treated successfully. Over the years I have brought my children over to you for treatment of minor infections etc and also the older son, M. B. for eczema and asthma. This has been treated successfully as well but as I can no longer afford to attend your clinic with both my son and for my health issue. Unfortunately, as I could not afford the treatment for my son’s eczema, it has flared up again within last one year.
I would also like to continue attending your clinic for my bad back and other health related issues such as blood pressure and severe hay fever which was treated successfully as well recently, thanks to your medicines; I suffered with mild depression over the years, which you treated within 3 months, 7 years ago as well. I realise the benefit of homoeopathic medicine and this controlled my health problems without any side effects, which I was receiving from the conventional medicines. I am highly grateful for the way you had controlled my tinnitus, which was making my life, a misery.
My son also benefited from using your treatment for eczema and asthma, which has flared up again. Recently, I was given an antibiotic, which originally started my tinnitus- Eurothomyicin by my GP for upper respiratory infection. Unfortunately, I think this has started my tinnitus once again. I have visited your clinic 4 times after that and feel that my tinnitus is now dying down but you consider I would benefit from a continuous treatment to control other symptoms such as mild depression.
Unfortunately, with other financial commitment and children expenses and running of household I am now finding is extremely hard to meet your treatment expenses for me and my son. I also think that it is unfair that I have to pay for this treatment especially for my son and feel that it really ought to be provided by the NHS. I have learnt that the NHS is considering supporting the alternative method of medication. Having seen the benefit, I would support the NHS with this, especially if they could somehow help me financially or subsidise the treatment I receive.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs S. B.
