Homoeopathy is the medical practice of treating like with like. That is to say, treating an illness with a substance which when taken by a healthy person produces symptoms similar to those displayed by the person who is ill.

Dear Doctor Zeb,
I am writing to you as I am considerably benefiting from homeopathic treatment under your care, but I’m now finding the regular consultations difficult to afford. For this reason I was hoping that I could possibly receive help through NHS funding, as I have heard that this is sometimes possible.
You have successfully treated me in the past and I completely trust your way of treatment. As you are already aware, the problems I am experiencing now are:
1) A severe pain in my right side of the abdominal, which radiates to my right legs.
2) I have been getting hot flushes day and night, which leads to excess sweating.
3)I have been suffering from emotional stress, for which my GP has recommended counselling, but I would prefer to be referred to your care.
I have also been feeling extremely exhausted and lack the energy to do the things I used to enjoy.
I am currently receiving state benefits and, as mentioned above, without help it will be impossible for me to keep attending my consultations with you, even though they are benefiting me so much. This is further adding to my stress.
I will do my best to find the money for the next couple of consultations, but after that I don’t know if I will be able to come again, even though I know that it is detrimental to my health and well- being that I do so.
Many thanks for your continued support,
Kind Regards,
Mrs F. K.
